David Cameron, President
Professor Cameron is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Order of Canada and of the Royal Society of Canada, and a recipient of the Governor General’s International Award for Canadian Studies, the University of Toronto’s Ludwik and Estelle Jus Human Rights Prize, the Carolyn Tuohy Impact on Public Policy Award, and the Adrienne Clarkson Public Service Laureateship. He has served for several years on the Board of Portland Place Board, a supportive housing organization.
Anne Layton, Secretary/Treasurer
Anne is an active parishioner of All Saints’ Kingsway Anglican Church. She served as the president of board of directors of Jessie’s, the June Callwood Centre for Young Women. Anne has served as the treasurer for a number of not-for-profit boards.
Rev. Barbara White, Director
Rev. Barbara White is a retired United Church minister. Her first career was in Public Health Nursing and so caring for and about people in the community has been a life-long interest.
Peter Farmer, Director
Peter obtained his law degree in 1974. He retired as CEO at an oil and gas company in 2009. He has erved on the Board of the University of Windsor for 9 years and Portland Place Non Profit Housing for 11 years. He Joined the Ecuhome Board in 2015.
Katja Brittain, Director
Katja Brittain is Associate Director of Property & Mission at Toronto United Church Council. Educated in management and theology in Germany, Scotland and Canada, Katja brings the experience of working in both the public and private sectors to her work for churches. As a member of Martin Luther Church in Etobicoke (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada), Katja acts as a lay preacher, as well as serving on the board of Moll Berczy Haus, the German speaking Senior Residence in Toronto.
Ron Kelusky, Director
Ron Kelusky is Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). The CPO oversees the Prevention Office within the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.Prior to his appointment as CPO, Ron was President and CEO of Public Services Health and Safety Association (PSHSA), a Health and Safety Association of the Ministry of Labour. Ron holds a Master of Business Administration, is a Certified Municipal Manager (CMM III) and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and Canadian Society of Safety Engineers.
Curtis McDonnell, Director
Curtis graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1972. He has been practicing law since 1974. and has held several senior counsel/consultant positions. He has been in private practice since 2017. Curtis joined us in 2018 and now holds the office of Vice President.
David Taylor, Past President
David has been a Board Member since 2008.
In Memoriam – Alice Greifenberger (April 17, 1936 – July 9, 2022)
Alice was on the Ecuhome Board of Directors since 1988. For over 30 years she was seen many changes and was involved in many levels of governing. Alice made a lifelong commitment to serve people in need and help in her community.

My new home saved my life. I try to give back as much as I can by helping the staff and other tenants. It’s like one big family – everyone has been wonderful to me. It feels like I have a home.
